The coins issued (dimes, quarters, and halves) had more silver content value in them than the numerical value which was struck on the coin itself. Hi Spirit….what a boo boo I made in over looking your comment. As our technology began to grow and new applications became needy of silver in such as transistors, conductors, electronics, auto industries windshields, etc. There became a greater demand for the metal. These price increases caused higher prices of the metal which eventually let to the U.S. Mint to exclude the metal in our coins in 1965.

Hey, I just wanted to say that your videos were very informative. I am a 16 year old student who works a minimum wage job to pay a few bills. Ive come to the realization that silver is the way to go to invest money. Because the dollar drops value damned near every day, I think its wise to trade paper for precious metal. Thanks again for your wise input!

  10. SouthernLibertyAmer says:

vVatever. I apologize sincerely for the late response. But, I’d like to commend you on grasping the fact that the U.S. Dollar’s inevitable collapse. Every paper currency in historically has collasped, meaning that our future in the dollar is just another part of history to come. I’ve been surprised at a lot’s of the younger generation coming onboard with interest in their future by replacing their fiat (let it be) currency by a good hard asset, such as gold or silver. Read response to spirit.
